ABOUT
Hello! My name is Swanny Makin and I’d like to welcome you to Sunny Times Preschool & Daycare! My goal is to provide the best possible atmosphere of love and learning while your child is in my care.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Ed with an emphasis on early childhood development. I have taught in Kindergarten, Second and Fourth grades and worked with children with special needs as well.
When my child first enrolled full time, at Sunny Times Daycare/Preschool, he was approaching 3 years of age and not yet able to speak in sentences. He has attended the Sunny Times program for 2 years and he now speaks and sings all the time! In her program, he has learned his alphabet (both upper & lowercase and their sounds), writes his numbers, knows his colors and reads on a first-grade level! Swanny makes learning fun and he really enjoys her and her program.
